Send joyful learning home—wrapped in your mission
Custom High Five magazine cover-wraps connect your work to the families you serve, turning everyday moments into meaningful learning.
For our early learning partners, we create custom cover-wrapped editions of High Five magazine, designed around your goals, branded with your identity, and created to go home with the families you serve.
High Five is made for little learners ages 2 to 6. It helps extend learning beyond the classroom while creating meaningful moments between children and the adults who care for them.
For our early learning partners, we create custom cover-wrapped editions of High Five magazine, designed around your goals, branded with your identity, and created to go home with the families you serve.
When children and caring adults read and play together, children build language, thinking, and social-emotional skills all at once. These shared experiences grow vocabulary, strengthen attention, and support early problem-solving, while helping children feel secure and connected. Just as important, this sparks curiosity and joy, laying the groundwork for a lifelong love of learning.
For parents and caregivers, High Five makes it easy to turn everyday reading and play into meaningful learning, especially during the critical early years of brain development.
But that's not all! You can wrap High Five magazine in your mission. Our custom and co-branded cover-wraps transform every issue into a trusted communication tool, helping you share important information and resources with the families you serve. Because High Five is a magazine children and families return to again and again, your message stays visible long after a typical flyer would be forgotten. See examples below.

Why Consider a Custom Cover-Wrapped High Five?
If you share our commitment to getting more early learning resources into more homes, let’s talk!
Screen-free, school-ready learning
High Five engages children in joyful, hands-on activities that build attention, language, social, emotional, and early problem-solving skills—without screens. Children and families can enjoy them anywhere while helping families bond and transporting children through imagination and wonder.
Family engagement made simple
High Five gives families an easy, approachable way to support their child’s development through everyday moments of reading and play.
Many parents and caregivers feel unsure how to support early learning at home. High Five removes that pressure, offering simple, engaging ways to build skills while spending meaningful time together.
Nurturing a love of reading
High Five is developmentally appropriate for young learners. Throughout its pages, children gain exposure to concepts that help nurture a love for reading, including:
- Oral language, the most essential building block: Vocabulary, learning how sentences work, expression of ideas
- Phonological awareness: Hearing and playing with sounds through rhymes, songs, and stories
- Narrative skill-building: Learning through stories how information flows, understanding characters, applying imagination to making up their own stories
- Letter knowledge: Recognizing and naming letters and connecting them to their sounds
- Early writing and fine-motor skills: Scribbling, tracing shapes, holding pencils and crayons
- Print awareness: Developing an understanding of how books and magazines feel and flow
- Motivation to read: Feeling excited to turn the page, explore everything on it, and ask questions or share thoughts about its contents
“The custom High Five magazine cover-wrap has been an incredible addition. Our families absolutely love the family engagement calendar, with 31 ideas to nurture skills through family fun. About High Five Magazine
In 1946, Highlights’ founders Dr. Garry and Caroline Myers published the first issue of Highlights magazine. Today, 80 years later, children around the world continue to learn and grow through Highlights’ stories, puzzles, and activities, all of which are designed to spark curiosity and creativity, teach caring, and help children see themselves as confident, capable learners.
High Five, launched in 2007 for children ages 2 to 6, brings that same spirit to early childhood. Each issue is thoughtfully designed to meet young children where they are, with playful content that supports learning through exploration, imagination, connection, and all kinds of fun.
